Greenwich, CT (May 25, 2019) --Greenwich Polo Club will kick off its 38th season of high-goal polo with opening day on Sunday, June 9th. The second 16-goal Shreve, Crump & Low Cup starts the 2019 season with six polo teams, a record for the first tournament of the summer. Greenwich Polo Club is proud to announce the full roster:
WHITE BIRCH: Chris Brant A, Kristos Magrini 2, Lerin Zubiaurre 8, Joaquin Panelo 6
HAWK HILL: Philip MacTaggart A, Segundo Merlos 3, Dylan Rossiter 5, Gringo Colombres 7
GARDENVALE: Shane Finemore A, Matt Coppola 4, Matt Grimes 6, Tatin Zubiaurre 5
THE ISLAND HOUSE: Peter Holowesko A, Toro Ruiz 7, Santino Magrini 4, Peke Gonzalez 5
REELAY: Will Tomita A, Mariano Gonzalez 7, Matias Magrini 7, Nicolas Diaz Alberdi 2
ALTARIS: Jamal Nusseibeh A, Nick Manifold 3, Nic Roldan 8, Marcos Garcia Del Rio 5
The draw of the tournament will place teams in two corresponding brackets and will be conducted on Thursday, May 30th at 6 p.m, The draw will be live-streamed through Greenwich Polo Club’s social media as well as published through our media partners CT Cottages & Gardens, WAG Magazine, and Greenwich Sentinel. First public match will take place at 3 p.m., gates open at 1 p.m.Mark your calendars for a family friendly and action packed way to spend your Sundays this summer. Due to our fans' demand, we now offer additional seating on the West side. The West End at just $80 per car, you can choose from a reserved umbrella on the lawn or a beer garden table under large tent. Enjoy the march in comfort, available 6/9, 6/16 and 6/30 ONLY!
Visit the Brant Foundation each polo Sunday from 1-3 PM and admission is open to everyone on the grounds. This season features Urs Fischer: ERROR, a solo exhibition of works from the last two decades. 
Brand new team Altaris joins the big leagues with a 16-goal team and American polo star Nic Roldan returns to Greenwich. Learn more about Nic on our website by checking out the player's page!
Palmer's of Darien will be the exclusive on-site caterer at polo once again this season, serving both boxes and cabanas. Check out their new easy to order menu starting at just $25 per person.
