To Our OC Polo Family,We would like to extend our gratitude to the club members, students and friends of OC Polo for your support and understanding as we navigate these unprecedented times. It has been a huge learning curve for all of us as we adjusted to the new norm of staying home; trying to make the best choices for our families and businesses with little information to guide us. Given the latest data, it seems like we are flattening the curve here in California, and there is light at the end of the tunnel. But we are also learning that it will be a slow return to a new version of normal, at least for the time being. Meanwhile, the team of essential staff at Rancho Silverado Stables has done an exceptional job caring for the horses during this situation. We are beyond grateful for the efforts they put forth each and every day. Our primary focus remains on their health and safety, so that they may continue the great care of our horses. While it doesn't take away the pains of not playing polo, we are also grateful to mother nature for picking this occasion for the unseasonably excessive rains this spring. The creek is flowing and the ponies have done their fair share of hand-walking. And while there may still be a few spring showers ahead of us, summer is on its way and the ponies will be ready to go when we are able to return to the ranch again. We are hopeful that next time you hear from us we will be sharing good news about polo lessons and practices.
Until then please stay home, stay healthy and think POLO!
